TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY
 Tom Crosslin and Rollie Rohm
On Labor Day weekend right before the 9/11/2001 attacks,
Michiganʼs Rainbow Farm hemp activists Tom
Crosslin and Rollie Rohm were shot and killed
by FBI snipers after a siege and standoff.
After organizing hemp festivals on their land
for several years, they were arrested for
alleged sales by attendees at the event, and
died in a hail of bullets defending their farm
from forfeiture. A haunting account of the events is in the book Burning Rainbow Farm, by Dean Kuipers, 2006, Bloomsbury USA.
